About Me
I have always been curious about other people’s lives and very empathic of others’ difficulties after my own chronic fatigue. Working in London for years was demanding so I trained as a yoga teacher and taught with an emphasis on relaxation.
But in 2012 I developed some unexplained back problems. After reading about how our emotional issues can manifest in our bodies, I decided to train as a counsellor. This taught me a lot about myself. I also had intensive psychoanalysis.
I am deeply curious about people generally, therefore I love my work as I can be really curious about my clients. It feels an honour to be trusted with my clients’ deepest fears, thoughts, wishes. I am calm and empathic and hope to create a very safe, warm environment for us to work together. The relationship that I have with clients is a parallel to the relationships they have in the outside world, so whatever we can change together in the therapy room, will impact on your life elsewhere.
I have been through and continue to go through my own journey of therapy and learning about myself which helps me to empathise with the things that you go through with me.
